Sun in the Hudson

As a busy cocktail waitress I find riding trains very relaxing. Heading back to Manhattan from upstate New York along the west side of the Hudson River is especially appealing to me. When the train arrives there is a little hustle amongst passengers. Everyone wants a seat on the right side of the train and a seat that doesn't face backwards (which can make for a queasy ride ). The view of the Hudson à droite is what makes the trip. And sometimes the tracks seem as if they have become the shoreline.
It is a romantic ride, yet when alone the trip is cushioned with moments of reflection: for the self, in the windows and the water.
